"I fell in love with Camp Horizon 10 years ago when I worked on Camp Twin Lakes summer staff. For four years, I got to witness the transformations that took place at Camp Horizon with their strong bonds to one another and their mission to Atlanta's children. As well as being a summer counselor, I was able to be on the first trip on Paddle GA in 2013. Since then, it has been my privilege to take our LDP campers on the adventure of a lifetime for 100 miles of paddling and camping every June."
“I love the Camp Horizon family. Everyone gets involved with camp to serve the kids, but soon after they also realize how incredible all the volunteers are.”
"Camp Horizon connects with the children involved and provides them a path of hope, respect, and possibilities for a future that in many cases, seems very bleak from the child's perspective"
